Personal Portfolio of Santiago Amo
The Author
Galician of Ferrol and living in Zaragoza. Santiago Amo began in the photography of the hand of his father, attracted by the luminosity and color of the slide projections that he saw at family home when he was very young.

He initiated his path doing slides, especially of landscapes. With the arrival of the digital cameras, the enthusiasm for the photography has gone in increase, managing to become a multidisciplinary photographer.

Photographer of vocation, self-taught, unconformist with her photos and obsessed with the perfection, tries day after day to go excelling herself trying to show "The Life in Photos".

mixFotos.com was created on 27th April 2007 and was being designed up until Autumn 2007. During a large part of 2008 the website has been re-developed by making great changes to the internal structure and design which have given place to the current website.

CANON 580EX II, A real gem in terms of its flash, it solves the problems of the previous model. Using some units as a wireless network you can have very good outdoors lighting.

Intel i7. Is too important to have a powerfull processor to work with photoshop. The Intel i7 with his 8 cores works perfectly.
Lowepro - Mini Trekker Classic Not so comfortable as the SlingShot, but bigger and quite very tidy. But especially, both straps of shoulder.



LOWEPRO SlingShot 200AW, The bag that I use. It's easy to use, roomy and discreet. It´s a shame that it is not more rigid.
TAMRAC 5613 Ultra Pro 13, Big and comfortable to carry all the material in a single bag. Many pockets and lost of details.
Others
SONY ERICSSON K850i, Having a mobile phone with a good camera is important, that way you re never stuck without a camera. This mobile phone has 5MP; it is not famed for taking extremely high quality photos, but it will do if you have nothing else with you.
SONY DSC-717, This was a marvellous digital camera, with a Carl Ceiss lens of extreme quality. The quality of its images is exceptional. But it is too slow and has a very small screen.



NIKON F60, A film camera, it takes very good photos, but it is out-of-date.
NIKON FM, Quite a legend of an excellent photo camera, with which I took my first photos.
Minimum recommended resolution 1024x768.
